Hi! My name is Ryan. I'm a dog lover who has been in the dog industry for 5 years. I've worked at; daycares, grooming salons, veterinary offices, rescues, breeding facilities and group and private dog walks, both on and off leash. I have trained with a behaviourist, have been certified as a dog trainer and work with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments. I continue educating myself on dog behaviour, current training methods and dog science. This way I can provide the best care I can for every pup.

I have a rescue of my very own. Mira has been an absolute joy in my life and is my best friend. She's helped me so much with my mental health and has taught me a lot about dogs.

Adventure Walks
Offered as small group and private walks for all dogs of every shape, size.
We work on good leash manners and general obedience. Any problem areas are addressed has they arise. Dogs are encouraged to walk over different terrains and obstacles to build muscle and confidence. Dogs will be given the opportunity to sniff, roll and enjoy themselves. This allows them to relieve stress and get comfortable in their environment.

I specialize in rescue dogs and those with behavioural issues, I love to work with them and offer private walks tailored to their needs. I focus on building confidence, walker interaction and positive environmental interactions. Watching their progress and discovering joy in the world is very rewarding.

I am fully insured. The vehicle is equipped with restraints, mats and safety equipment to ensure your pup’s comfort and wellness. Dogs will be sat beside friends and organized based on their individual needs.
Various exercises can be done throughout the walk:

-
basic obedience and proper leash manners
-
trick training and mentally stimulating tasks
-
Confidence building activities such as climbing on equipment, walking in different terrains
-
Self-regulation and relaxation techniques
-
Fetch and other toy based games

Recall
I carry a phone, emergency supplies, medical kit, water, bowls, back up dog equipment, enrichment tools, (balls, bubbles, puzzle toys, snuffle mats, lick mats, sound makers etc.) and protective tools like citronella spray, air horns or water bottles to deter loose dogs or the beginnings of a scuffle. Walks are rain or shine! In extreme weather, walks will be shortened or cancelled for the safety of all involved.

Additional quick services can be added to any walk visit. Want to give them a lick or snuffle mat or kong as a boredom buster? We’ll return your dog and leave one with them. Just set it near the front door for pick up the next walk day. Nail trims, teeth brushing and ear cleaning can be done, more intensive grooming services can be booked for additional times.
